Facts About Cardiac Arrest

Every year in Ireland, approximately 10,000 people lose their lives to cardiovascular diseases, with a staggering 5,000 of these deaths attributed to sudden cardiac arrest.

The good news is that early intervention in the form of CPR and defibrillation within the first few critical minutes following a collapse can dramatically increase the chances of survival, exceeding an impressive 50%.
