Frequently asked questions

Is manual handling training a legal requirement?

Employers must assess manual handling risks and provide appropriate training to employees who carry out manual handling tasks, under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations.

How often should manual handling training be refreshed?

It is commonly refreshed every three years, or sooner if tasks or equipment change.

Can the training use our own equipment and loads?

Yes. Training on-site lets us practise with the actual loads and conditions your team deals with every day.
